Mr. Mitote studied Graphic Design from 2001 to 2004 at Justo Sierra University. He has participated in both national and international exhibitions. Starting at the Mexican Museum of Design (MUMEDI) with “60 Years Red Panther” for MGM in Mexico City in 2024, he has continued to astonish audiences with his work at iconic venues such as the Papalote Children’s Museum with the “Helmet Exhibition” for Halo+Paramount in 2022, and MUMEDI with “Riders Beware” in 2021, as well as at FantasyLab with “Dreams” in the same year. Furthermore, his presence in the national design scene has been notable, with exhibitions like “Chamuco” at Studio Mitote in Mexico City in 2020, “Alter Ego” for B:oost at Casa Picnic in 2019, and “X” at Squash73 in 2019, from his early works in Mexico City, such as “Snoopy” in 2015 at MUMEDI and “Batman 50 years” for Warner Bros in 2014, to collaborations with renowned brands like Nike Sportswear 1902 with “RED Nike” in 2010. Internationally, his contributions have resonated in events such as “Angels and Demons” at Expo Toys BCN in Barcelona in 2021, “Gathering” at Mothership Gallery in Philadelphia in 2020, and “Foxy: Reloaded Custom Show” at Solid Toys HQ in Shanghai in the same year. Additionally, he has participated in notable exhibitions like “Misappropriated Icon 2” for Kaws at Strange Cat Toys in Miami in 2019, the “Anatoy Custom Show” at the Beijing Toy Show in 2019, and events in New York such as “Chamuko” at Clutter Gallery in 2018, “ConstructTOYvism” in the same year, and “Falling apart” at New York Comic Con in 2018, and the “DTA Dunny show” in 2016.
